2. Hosting by IONOS
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary data in order to provide, secure and stabilise the website. This may include the previously visited page (referrer), the requested website or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and the IP address. According to IONOS, the IP address is anonymised when it is collected.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and reliable provision of this website. According to IONOS, visitor data generated by Webhosting is stored for up to 8 weeks and is not transferred to third countries outside the EU. IONOS is used as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
3. IONOS WebAnalytics
IONOS WebAnalytics is enabled by default for IONOS Webhosting. IONOS uses log files or a tracking pixel to generate statistical information. The data collected includes the referrer, requested pages or files, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and the IP address in anonymised form. According to IONOS, the IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission and is subsequently processed without personal reference.
According to IONOS, WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The data is used exclusively for statistical analysis and technical optimisation of the website. To the extent that personal data is processed during the technical collection process, we rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technical optimisation and appropriate provision of our website.
4. Cookies and external services
The website currently does not use its own analytics, marketing or profiling cookies and does not embed external web fonts, social-media plugins, maps or advertising tracking services. Switching between the German and English versions is carried out using ordinary page links and does not require browser storage.
If additional services that use cookies or similar technologies or transmit personal data to third parties are added in the future, this privacy notice will be updated before those services are activated and, where required, consent will be obtained.
5. Product and sourcing enquiries through the website
The enquiry form on this website does not send form data to our web server. When you submit the form, an email containing the information you entered is prepared on your device and your local email application is opened. The information is only transmitted through the email providers used by you and by us if you then send the email yourself.
Depending on the content of your enquiry, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract, or on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling other business enquiries.
6. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. This may include your name, contact details, company information and the content of your message.
The data will be deleted when it is no longer required to process your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require longer storage. Statutory commercial and tax retention obligations remain unaffected.

Recipients of personal data may in particular include our hosting provider IONOS and the email service providers used for email communication, insofar as this is necessary to provide the website or process your enquiry.
